  |   November 24, 2015  |   Mars Reel

On Tuesday, the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans traveled to Wake Christian Academy surprising the Bulldogs with a blowout victory 93-59.
The Trojans didn't waste a second to get going. Kwe Parker scored the first basket of the game from behind the arc, giving the Trojans a 3 point lead.

From there the Trojans would go on a scoring spree for the next 5 minutes, keeping the Bulldogs to zero.

The Trojans' Michael Buckland forced a turnover for the Bulldogs which lead to a three point play after being fouled in transition with 5 minutes left in the quarter. Kwe Parker would follow up next with a high-flying interception of an in-bounds pass and converting that to a transition lay up. The Bulldogs would not score their first basket until 3 minutes into the game; by that point it was too late – the Trojans would break away with a 14 point lead with 2 minutes left in the first quarter. In the second quarter, there was no difference between Jalen Johnson and a runaway train on the break. Johnson slammed home more than 5 dunks during the game. Despite the imposing offense (and defense) of Wesleyan Christian Academy, there wasn't much the Trojans could do about the sharp-shooting Wake Christian point guard Rob Whitfield who caught fire from the arc. Our unofficial count for Whitfield is 20 points, resulting from six made three pointers and one pull up mid-range jumper in the second half. Per Nick and Nate-WASN:

Throughout the game it was very difficult for the athleticism of Wesleyan Christian Academy to go unnoticed – especially from Tennessee commit's Parker and Johnson.

The 6'2″ Parker displayed multiple feats of superhuman athleticism throughout the game from chase down blocks to intercepting inbound passes.

Parker really stole the show after throwing down a windmill dunk in the third quarter.

After reviewing game footage, unofficial count for Parker is 15 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block.

Parker wasn't the only high flyer in Tuesday night's game.

Johnson finished more than 5 slam dunks via transition plays, rushing through traffic, and catching alley oops. Our unofficial count for Johnson is 15 points.

With this blowout, Wake Christian Academy remains on a three game losing streak.

Their next game will be December 1st at home against St. David's who was previously 3-0 until recently falling to the 3-0 Ravenscroft (Raleigh, NC) by 19 points. Both teams are hungry for a win.

The Trojans will be looking to maintain their 3 game winning streak this weekend in Atlanta, GA at Mays High School, where they will face Lithonia High School and Jonesboro at the Atlanta Hardwood Jam Fest.
